Although Isabelle has only been with our family for a little more than a year, she has had the opportunity to travel quite a bit. Because of some of the attachment issues that she has dealt with, it's been necessary to take Isabelle with us anytime we've travelled. And since Diann likes to tag along with Bill on business trips, Isabelle has learned the airport routine. In addition to the very long flight from Guangzhou to Seattle that brought her to the U.S., Isabelle has taken flights to Fort Lauderale, Las Vegas, San Antonio, San Francisco, and Salt Lake City a couple of times.
This weekend we took a quick trip to Salt Lake City to hear our nephew speak in Sacrament meeting prior to leaving on a mission, and Isabelle decided to make the most of her time at the gate at Sea-Tac airport. [evidenced by the picture above]
For a variety of reasons, Kaycie and Ravyn weren't able to go to Salt Lake with us this weekend. So we asked a couple of friends in our ward to help get the girls where they needed to be, and to let them stay at their house overnight. This even meant that they got "tucked-in" at night, which they haven't had here for years!!! Thank you, Linda and Mark!
One final note: Ravyn's All-State softball team was eliminated from the state tournament in the semi-final round. And it's somewhat of a consolation to know that the team that eliminated them went on to win the championship the next day. Congratulations to Ravyn on a great season.

Any time... we enjoyed the couple of hours they were awake. We need more Wii experience and they were great to teach us... we even learned how to add a person and make them look like a "real cool dude".
