Labor Day weekend is our last big "hoorah" of the summer. With Ravyn back home, summer vacations over, EFY done, the dirt from girls camp finally washed off, back-to-school sales hit, Mariners games attended and the Olympics behind us...we are finally ready to get back to "real life." School starts Wednesday and the girls are more than ready to get back at it! Isabelle even starts gymnastics next week.
On another note, we are still in shock over Kassidy's news of triplets. But I am very saddened by some people's reactions to the news. And while it's sad that some of the worst offenders have been family members, it's been very satisfying to see that some of the greatest support has come from elsewhere in our family. This is definitely one of those BIG life events that show what kind of a person we collectively are. This is a great opportunity for Kass and Sam to grow and mature and to do what needs to be done and for them to grow closer as a couple as they struggle through this difficult/wonderful time. For the rest of us, it's a time to "bear one another's burdens."

AMEN!!!!!!!!!!! Nicely said, mother!!! I love you.
I miss my sisters. Tell ravyn i miss her already!!!!!
It's amazing what makes us stronger and helps us grow closer together. You are a great mother to see this and to have the faith to look for the growth that can come. My children amaze me by how they grow when things difficult and just think... those 3 wonderful little spirits that are coming.
