A Little Rattled...

Kaycie and I made an emergency run to the local Walmart tonight for TP. When we left the house it was raining. When we were almost done with our purchase the loud speaker came on in Walmart and said, "All customers and employees go to the middle of the store, there is a tornado threat!" Everyone in the store made their way to the middle of the store which just happened to be in the men's department. You could hear the hail hitting the roof outside. We called home and Bill and the girls had already made their way to the basement, our "safeplace"- Outside you could hear the tornado warning blaring letting everyone know of the tornadic weather! We were detained there, huddled in the middle of the mens dept for only about a half hour. They came on the loud speaker and said the threat was over for the moment but another one was headed for us. We hurried home and joined the rest of the family in the basement.

Kaycie and I were wishing we were detained in the book dept or the kids dept or something more interesting than the mens underwear! But we are safe and sound...the moral of the story is make sure you have enough TP so you don't have to make an emergency run to Walmart on a Sunday!
