It's only appropriate to showcase the progress Kaycie has made as a big-time high school student.
Kaycie's course requirements required her to take an art class this year. This class covered both art history, and actually drawing. Let's just say that going into the class this was not Kaycie's strongest area. But these two pictures show you what some good instruction and a lot of hard work will accomplish. These are two drawings Kaycie did; one at the beginning of the school year, and the other just recently. Quite an improvement, eh?
Nice job, Kaycie! We're thinking you might want to consider a career as a police sketch artist!

I don't mean to criticize your abilities, Kaycie, but I'm glad you don't really look like that self-portrait you drew of yourself! You've come a long ways!
Nice work, Kaycie! Plus, I hear the field of police artist sketching can be a very lucrative career option. Keep it up and you may be designing book covers for the Edward/Twilight series...
