Nice Weekend...

Saturday we drove to Tuscaloosa (about an hour drive) to the University of Alabama to watch a softball tournament. We only got to watch about a half hour before the officials cleared the stadium due to lightning in the area. Then the rain started, so we went and checked out the college town... (the best we could in the rain). Then we went to dinner and still the rain poured so we headed on home. It was still fun even though we would have loved to see a couple of college softball games.
Sunday was our ward conference and it was really good. Our Stake President and his counselors are really awesome men. Bill was called as the ward finance clerk, a job he will be great at!
After church we had to head back to Tuscaloosa for Ravyn to receive her Patriarchal Blessing. It was a wonderful blessing and confirmed what we already knew, Ravyn is a very special girl!
When we got home and started our nightly ritual of family scriptures and prayer, I looked up and saw Isabelle so quietly trying to read along with us. Luckily I had my camera close by and was able to snap this sweet picture that shows even as little as she is, she is able to be such a great example to us.
